Ivan Nikolic
Managing Director
Ivan is a distinguished professional with nearly two decades of experience in the maritime industry. Recently, Ivan served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at one of the major US vessel agencies. In this capacity, he orchestrated strategic initiatives to elevate market presence and propel business expansion.
Ivan also held pivotal positions within the company, notably as Director of Business Development, where his contributions led to sweat equity and appointment as a board member. Preceding his marketing role, Ivan served as a Vessel Manager for seven years gaining invaluable insights into operational intricacies and logistics management.
Ivan’s academic journey is marked by a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Southern Utah University, where he graduated with honors. Additionally, he earned an Associate’s degree in Marketing from Long Beach City College, further enriching his comprehensive skill set.
Christopher Voelker
Operations Manager Eastern Gulf of Mexico
Chris is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in maritime operations and supply chain management. Beginning his journey in vessel management as a Boarding Agent in the Greater New Orleans Area, his commitment and expertise led him to advance in his career progressively. Christopher further honed his skills as an Operations Manager at one of the largest vessel agencies in the USA, where he spent over six years. He then transitioned to a cargo inspection company, where he oversaw multiple operations along the Mississippi River before assuming the role of Vessel Manager at another major vessel agency.
His academic qualifications include an MSc in Supply Chain Management from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and a BSc in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans, where he graduated with honors.
Christopher is fluent in English and German. His dedication to continuous improvement and his diverse skill set make him a valuable asset in any organization he serves.
Josue Martinez
Operations Manager Western Gulf of Mexico
Josue Martinez, with over 15 years of industry experience, is currently based in our Houston, Texas office, overseeing our West Gulf operations at Navigo.
During his tenure in Venezuela, Josue also assumed the position of General Manager at Centro Venezolano Americano English Teaching Institute. Renowned for his leadership prowess and unwavering commitment to driving organizational success, Josue stands as an invaluable asset in any challenging and dynamic environment.
